Research Process
Not many research companies ever have the opportunity to research Santa Claus. Mall intercept interviews were conducted among parents while they waited in line for their child's picture with Santa.

Results
The research provided excellent insights on the desired Santa appearance, demeanor, and behavior, allowing the "Santa Supply" company to improve the performance of their Santas, leading to more customers having pictures taken with Santa and added picture revenues.
The parents showed moderate to strong interest in selected alternative souvenirs of their Santa pictures, which should lead to larger picture-package purchases. |
